Chelsea started her career at a young age, landing her first commercial when she was eight years old. It was Travelodge and she appeared alongside of now mega popular High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens. What a great start! A year later she made her way to Broadway, with the role of Young Kim in the production Showboat. Since then, she took part of several other productions, including leading roles like Mary Lennox in The Secreat Garden and meanwhile hit the small screen.
Chelsea attended regular school in her hometown in Phonenix, Arizona while filming pilots and guest appearances for several shows. But by the time she was a freshman she had to decide between school and her acting career. It wasn't as easy as you may think. Chelsea loved school - yup, that's what you read - and she even got to be class president! She says, "I love student government--being able to have a voice for all the students. And I got a battle of the bands started at my school. It was fun to decorate for dances and just really feel like you were a part of it, as opposed to just kind of wandering the halls." It definitely shows this girl has a lot of energy! But when it came down to it she went for acting. Chelsea gave it a try in her school fall break by going to Los Angeles and taking as many autions as she could. Her parents are in the buisness and knew how difficult it really is, and thought it'd simply show her how tough it really is and make her focus on school. To everyone's surprise, super lucky Chelsea booked a job! Needless to say, they moved to Los Angeles, where they reside nowadays.
From then on things got really crazy for Chelsea, she landed her first role in the big screen playing the evil girl in "Bratz: The Movie". This also gave her the oportunity to record two songs, which are featured on the movie's soundtrack, and prove just how versatile our lovely lady is. After Bratz, Chelsea got more and more into the "Disney family" landing a lead role in the January 2008 movie "Minutemen" and the upcoming tv series "J.O.N.A.S!", with the chart toppers Jonas Brothers. Chelsea admits being quite nervous to play the love interest to [all of] The Jonas Brothers in the show, because of their so-huge-girl-fanbase who wish to be in her shoes, but feels very blessed. The show is set to premiere in June. We can't wait!
